Early morning:

  • Start the day early: The earlier you go the less crowded it will be and the less traffic you will encounter in Lisbon.

Morning:

  • If you have rented a car, stop on the way at Praia do Guincho (beach) for a surf lesson or a swim in the Atlantic Ocean.
  • The famous lighthouse: Visit the Cabo da Roca lighthouse and take in the breathtaking views of the rugged coastline

Afternoon:

  • Lunch: Enjoy a seafood lunch at Azenhas do Mar, a picturesque fishing village nearby.
  • Pass by the nearby city “Sintra“: Visit the beautiful “Palacio de Monserrate” in Sintra, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
  • Gardens of Sintra: The gardens of Sintra are a masterpiece. Take a stroll through it, you will love the exotic plants and architectural features

Night:

  • Dinner: If you want to eat your dinner at “Europe’s End”, head back to Cabo da Roca and enjoy a grilled octopus with garlic at the “Restaurante Bar do Fundo” restaurant. If you have room for a dessert, Indulge in a traditional Portuguese dessert, like Pastel de Nata or Arroz Doce.
