2. Fado ao Centro Restaurant
Fado ao Centro is located in the heart of Braga, with a great atmosphere and delicious food. The service is good and the location is perfect for tourists who want to enjoy Fado shows with friends or family. The restaurant has an excellent menu with both traditional and modern dishes that will please even picky eaters! If you are visiting Braga, we highly recommend this restaurant because it’s one of our favorites!

3. Solar do Bacalhau Restaurant
Located in the old town of Braga, Solar do Bacalhau is one of the best restaurants for fado shows in this region. It’s located on Rua de Santa Clara and serves up traditional Portuguese cuisine to locals and tourists alike. The wine list is extensive and includes local wines from Minho, as well as other regions around Portugal.
The dinner menu features classics like bacalhau (cod), sardines, octopus salad, and grilled fish along with more unique options such as pork ribs or grilled duck breast with cherry sauce. There are also vegetarian dishes available if you want something lighter than meat dishes!

4. Casa de Pasto das Carvalheiras Restaurant
Casa de Pasto das Carvalheiras is the place to go if you want to enjoy a delicious meal while listening to traditional fado music. The restaurant is located in Braga’s historic center and offers traditional Portuguese cuisine, such as codfish and octopus stew, for example. It also specializes in seafood dishes such as clams with rice or pasta with shrimp sauce.
It’s worth mentioning that Casa de Pasto das Carvalheiras has a great reputation when it comes to hosting special events like weddings, birthdays, or corporate dinners because they have good service and high-quality food–and they offer entertainment with live music (usually fado dinners) every night at 9 pm!
5. Senhor Abade Restaurant
Restaurante Senhor Abade is located in the heart of Braga’s historic city center, just steps away from the Cathedral and other important sites. The restaurant serves traditional Portuguese cuisine and has a delicious menu that includes dishes like sardines with garlic sauce, codfish cakes, octopus stewed in wine, or baked fish with potatoes and vegetables. Reservations are recommended but not required; if you don’t have one when you arrive at the restaurant there will likely still be space available at one of their tables or at least on their waiting list!
