After traveling for a few days, you’re bound to need a good cup of coffee. And if you’re in the city of Hurghada, there are plenty of cafes to choose from! The cafes listed below are the best cafes to have coffee or tea in the city center, downtown, or on Sheraton Street.
1. Costa Coffee
Costa Coffee is a British multinational coffeehouse company with branches all over Egypt. It has a branch in Hurghada on Al Fondok Street near the resorts in the Sheraton downtown, there is an indoor air-conditioned seating area as well as an outdoor one. The place is clean and you can have your coffee or other drinks with club sandwiches, croissants, and chocolate pastries.
2. Starbucks
Starbucks is one of the best cafes in Hurghada. It has 2 branches named “Aldau Village” and “Art Cafe”. The branches are clean and the staff is cheerful, so you can enjoy your time there with confidence and order your coffee there.

3. Aquarium Cafe & Resturant
This cafe is one of the best cafes in Hurghada city center, with a great beach view and you can have a table by the view. The coffee and smoothies are tasty as well as their seafood dishes which are amazing! They also serve pizza but it’s not that good compared to other places but it’s still nice if you want something different from pasta or burgers! The prices here are good and friendly staff always makes sure everything goes well for you at this place!
4. Winter Palace – Elite Cafe (Smoking allowed – Serves Shisha)
Winter Palace – Elite Cafe is the best cafe in El Kawthar, Hurghada. They serve amazing coffee and cocktails. If you smoke, you can have shisha there. It’s a family place where people have birthday parties and hang out at night with their friends or family members because it has a very nice atmosphere! The staff are wonderful & always smiling & helpful! The seatings are very comfortable & clean
5. Espresso Restaurant & Cafe
When you want to go for a coffee and a cake, Espresso Restaurant & Cafe is a great option in Hurghada. The menu has lots of variety. The food and beverages were great. I recommend trying the Blueberry Mojito if you like fresh mint leaves as it was refreshingly delicious!
The desserts are lovely too especially the chocolate mousse cake which was so creamy! Indoor and outdoor seating are available which makes this place ideal for families with kids as well as couples looking for some privacy on their date night 🙂 It’s also very clean and cozy so don’t worry about getting sick from unclean surfaces.
6. Elbostan Cafe – 24 hours (Local cafe – Serves Shisha)
Elbostan Cafe is one of the hidden gems in Hurghada where you can have a pure local experience of the Egyptian cafe with waiters ready to try speaking English.
Comfortable seats, good space and location near downtown makes this place perfect for spending time with friends or family members after visiting different places around Hurghada city center. They are famous for their shisha flavors and delicious Egyptian sweets as Om Ali and fruit Sahlab which are the most popular items on their menu besides coffee or Shai (Tea).
7. Green Café & Restaurant
Green Café & Restaurant is the best place to drink your coffee in the City Center mall near the Hilton Hurghada Plaza. It’s famous for its delicious Mexican chicken fajita. Its Steak is also amazing. And if you aren’t a fan of coffee, the shakes are quite good too.
8. Elbaron caffe – البارون كافيه
Elbaron caffe is one of the best cafes in Sheraton, near downtown Hurghada. It’s a cozy place where to sit, with good drinks and attentive and friendly service. You can also order coffee or hot cider if you want something warm to drink during your break. The place is pet-friendly so feel free to bring your furry friend along!
Juices aren’t their best though so I’d recommend you go somewhere else if you’re looking for fresh juices (they have some bottled ones though).
